Since the inception of QC services in Pakistan early 1992, the organization reflect its greater scope of work to respond to extreme poverty and the Government’s priorities. QC through its field offices enabled itself to strategically address the developmental and humanitarian needs at the very local level. QC is undertaking programmes associated with the socio-economic development of the Country. The projects are categorized under six programme pillars: Youth Leadership & Social Protection, Education, Provision of WASH, Health (with a focus on MNCH), Economic Empowerment & Sustainable Livelihood (EESL) and Disaster Response & Preparedness (DRP), along with its Seasonal Programs like meat distribution, Ramadhan program etc. In Pakistan, Qatar Charity is having its country office in Islamabad and field offices in KPK, Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan, and AJK.
1. Job Summary:
The monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be based in Jhang, Muzaffargarh, Ranjanpur & Multan where UNICEF funded emergency project is to be implemented initially for three (03) months. This position reports to the Project Manager. This position is expected to track the project targets and indicators and conduct the overall Monitoring and Evaluation function through support from Qatar Charity focal person in Country Office (Islamabad). S/he will be working in close coordination with both the project and program teams. The position is required to implement M&E tools to ensure that all project interventions are relevant, efficient, documented and meet desired goals and objectives.
2. Job Responsibilities:
Establish a monitoring and evaluation framework in line with the policies of the Qatar Charity and UNICEF which also correspond to an agreement with the donor for the project.
a. Technical Monitoring & Evaluation Tool, Problem-Solving

c. Compliance and feedback Familiar with donor & QC compliance & Feedback mechanism.

e. Reporting According to the Donor & QC requirement
3. Job Requirements:
a. Education master’s degree in social sciences, Rural Development, Management sciences, Development Studies/Management or other any relevant discipline.
b. Relevant experience 03 Years -05 Years’ experience in the same capacity
c. Computer knowledge MS Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint), Outlook
4. Skills and Personality:
a. Communication skills Must have a communication skill
b. Personality description Courteous, Responsible, Integral, Punctual, Trustworthy
c. Technical skills Knowledge of M & E Tool, Data Management, M & E Training,
5. Preferences
Good research skills, ability to identify useful information that can support and strengthen arguments made in reports as well as in concept notes and proposals, thereby contributing to successful donor relations
