QMS position

Feroze1888 Mills Ltd, a prominent Pakistan-based manufacturer and exporter of specialized yarn and textile products, is seeking a dedicated Quality Management System (QMS) professional to join their team in Karachi. With a legacy dating back to the early 1970s, the company operates a state-of-the-art, vertically integrated terry towel manufacturing facility and maintains a global presence through its partnership with 1888 Mills (USA). Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO standards and company policies. Monitor compliance with quality standards and conduct regular internal audits to ensure adherence. Coordinate corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities and improve processes. Maintain and update documentation, procedures, and records related to the QMS. Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, and management teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Support training programs on quality procedures and ensure alignment with environmental and safety requirements. Facilitate communication across departments to uphold customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications
Proven experience managing Quality Management Systems, including familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, as well as GOTS, GRS, RCS, and STEP standards. Strong skills in documentation control and conducting internal audits. Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify process gaps, determine root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Knowledge of textile or manufacturing processes, preferably within yarn, terry towels, or related textile product environments. Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and the use of QMS software tools or SAP. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and support quality training initiatives. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Textile Technology, or a related field is required. Relevant certifications in QMS or ISO auditing are considered an advantage. Ability to work full-time on-site in Karachi, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
