Quality Assurance Engineer

UTECH HUB is seeking a dedicated QA Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience to join their team onsite in Johar Town, Lahore. The successful candidate will take full ownership of software quality assurance, focusing on integration testing and comprehensive project documentation. This role demands strong expertise in API and integration testing, with a preference for candidates who have experience working with Salesforce platforms. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 100,000 to 150,000.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure software reliability.
- Test REST APIs and integrations using Postman or similar tools, validating data flow across systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot integration issues to maintain seamless system communication.
- Develop detailed test cases, test plans, and comprehensive bug reports.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including API/integration documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), release notes, and user guides.
- Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce and resolve defects efficiently.
- Ensure all features undergo thorough testing before delivery to clients.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate production releases.
- Proactively identify edge cases and potential issues to prevent client impact.
- Utilize AI tools effectively to enhance testing, documentation, debugging, and overall productivity.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong proficiency in API testing, integrations, JSON, HTTP protocols, and tools like Postman.
- Solid skills in functional, regression, and integration testing methodologies.
- Excellent documentation and technical writing abilities.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios.
- Experience working with project management and bug tracking tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or equivalents.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with Salesforce testing is a significant advantage, including knowledge of Flows, Apex/LWC functionality, APIs, integrations, permissions, data management, sandboxes, and deployment processes.
- Automation testing experience using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks will be considered an additional asset.
