Quality Assurance Lead

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to oversee quality assurance efforts across our software products, with a particular emphasis on banking and financial applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of hands-on testing skills and leadership capabilities, enabling them to effectively manage QA teams and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. This role is based in multiple locations including Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Multan, and Faisalabad.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the QA team to ensure thorough planning, execution, and delivery of testing activities.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, including manual and automated testing approaches.
- Design detailed test cases and conduct regression testing to verify software quality and functionality.
- Oversee defect management processes, ensuring timely identification, reporting, and resolution of issues.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and business stakeholders to align QA efforts with project goals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Take full ownership of QA activities and ensure the delivery of high-quality software releases.
- Mentor and guide team members to build their skills and foster a culture of quality.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with significant time spent in a QA Lead or senior QA role.
- Strong hands-on expertise in both manual and automation testing techniques.
- Proven experience testing banking and financial applications, with a solid understanding of financial workflows and transaction processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage QA teams effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of test strategy development, test planning, test case design, regression testing, automation frameworks, and defect management.
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to take ownership of QA processes and drive continuous improvements.
