Quality Assurance Manager (Pharmacist)

Max Pharmaceuticals is looking for a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager with a strong background in pharmaceutical quality systems and quality control. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in managing quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leading cross-functional teams. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can oversee quality control operations, handle batch releases, manage deviations, and maintain thorough documentation to uphold the company’s commitment to product quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all Quality Assurance activities within the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, SOPs, and other regulatory requirements.
- Lead batch release processes, deviation handling, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and change control procedures.
- Supervise in-process controls, finished product quality assessments, and laboratory operations.
- Coordinate effectively with Production, Quality Control, and Regulatory Affairs departments to maintain seamless quality management.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the QA team, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation related to quality assurance activities.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Quality Control.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical quality systems including GMP, GLP, SOPs, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience in batch release, deviation management, CAPA, change control, and documentation practices.
- Excellent understanding of in-process controls, finished product quality, and laboratory operations.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:

- Ability to work collaboratively across departments to ensure quality standards are met.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 150,000.
- Work schedule is Monday to Saturday, with only the first Saturday of each month off.
- Working hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- The position requires in-person attendance at the company’s facility located in the National Industrial Zone, Rawat, Islamabad.
