Quality Assurance Manager - TJ / 1875186

Our client, Soft House, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Manager based in Lahore. This role is focused on ensuring that all software products meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in quality assurance processes. This position does not involve managing a team but requires strong skills in identifying defects, streamlining testing workflows, and enhancing overall product quality. The QA Manager will collaborate closely with development teams to implement effective testing strategies and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and optimize quality assurance processes to elevate product quality at Soft House.
- Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on detailed product requirements and specifications.
- Execute both manual and automated testing procedures to detect software defects and inconsistencies.
- Work collaboratively with software developers and product teams to fully understand functionality and performance expectations.
- Manage defect tracking by accurately documenting, reporting, and monitoring bugs to ensure timely resolution.
- Analyze and report on quality metrics such as defect rates and test coverage to support informed decision-making.
- Continuously review and improve testing methodologies to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to integrate quality assurance seamlessly into the software development lifecycle.
- Assist in risk assessment and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate quality-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in quality assurance and software testing.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of three years of practical experience in quality assurance within a software development environment.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including both manual and automated testing techniques.
- Proven ability to design and execute detailed test plans and cases.
- Experience with defect tracking and quality metrics analysis.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies is preferred.
