We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team focused on quality assurance and management within a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of our hospital by conducting audits, supporting accreditation processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in various software tools to support data analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct internal and external (third-party) audits to ensure compliance with healthcare quality standards.
- Perform open and close medical chart audits to verify accuracy and completeness.
- Supervise and conduct periodic reviews of departmental quality systems to maintain continuous compliance with applicable standards.
- Lead awareness sessions on quality improvement standards, internal audits, and related topics to educate staff and promote a culture of quality.
- Assist the Head of Department (HOD) primarily with Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) initiatives and Quality Management System (QMS) activities.
- Support organizational quality assurance initiatives aimed at meeting international quality standards by drafting and developing institutional policies.
- Monitor and improve audit performance across various hospital departments to enhance overall quality and patient safety.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Total Quality Management (TQM), Healthcare Management, Statistics, Public Health, or a related field.
- Medical graduate qualifications such as M.B.B.S or B.D.S are also acceptable.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience, preferably in a healthcare or quality assurance environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver effective presentations.
- Strong negotiation skills to engage with internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SPSS.
- Ability to perform effectively under high-pressure situations and meet strict deadlines.
