Quality Assurance Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled QA Team Lead with expertise in both automation and manual testing to join our dynamic team in Lahore Gulberg. The ideal candidate will lead the quality assurance efforts for mobile applications, ensuring high standards throughout the software development lifecycle. This role requires a hands-on leader who can design and execute comprehensive test strategies, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and stay updated with the latest trends in mobile testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and implementation of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts specifically for mobile applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing across multiple mobile platforms and devices to ensure product quality.
- Conduct various testing types during the project lifecycle, including integration, regression, and stress testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts, covering unit and integration tests to improve testing efficiency.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align testing efforts with project goals.
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in mobile development and QA automation tools and methodologies to continuously enhance testing processes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Over 5 years of practical experience in testing mobile and web applications.
- At least 3 years of experience in developing and executing automated test scripts for mobile applications using tools such as Appium, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to deconstruct complex systems and identify potential issues.
- Proficiency in project management and bug tracking tools, particularly JIRA.
- Comprehensive knowledge of different testing types, including integration, regression, and stress testing.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding junior QA engineers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration and documentation.
