Quality Assurance - Video Editor

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Video Editor with a strong eye for quality control and a passion for creating engaging short-form content. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that every video meets our creative and technical standards before delivery. This role requires expertise in editing short-form videos such as Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, along with the ability to review and maintain high-quality production standards across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos with a focus on engaging storytelling, pacing, and dynamic cuts, especially for talking-head content.
- Apply motion graphics, animations, transitions, captions, and sound design to enhance video quality and viewer engagement.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on video edits to ensure visual consistency, audio clarity, pacing, branding alignment, and compliance with client briefs.
- Identify errors or inconsistencies in edits and provide clear, actionable feedback to the editing team.
- Oversee revisions to ensure all changes are accurately implemented and meet quality standards.
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while maintaining consistency and adhering to deadlines.
- Utilize professional video editing software and quality assurance workflows effectively.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in short-form video editing, including platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Strong skills in editing talking-head videos with attention to pacing, storytelling, and viewer engagement.
- Proficiency in motion graphics, animations, transitions, captions, and sound design.
- Demonstrated ability to perform detailed quality assurance checks on video content.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high production standards.
- Familiarity with professional video editing tools and quality assurance processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines efficiently.
- A strong portfolio showcasing short-form content, talking-head edits, and motion graphics is essential.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
This position is based on-site at Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi, with working hours from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. Candidates who can handle both video editing and quality assurance responsibilities are highly preferred.
