This full-time position is focused on ensuring the highest quality standards within the manufacturing environment by managing customer quality interactions, conducting audits, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with various departments to monitor processes, control data, and uphold calibration standards, all while driving quality assurance and compliance on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Quality & Audits:
Facilitate customer personnel during Quality Assurance Verification (QAV) audits and act as the primary liaison with customer quality teams to address any quality-related issues. Follow up on final inspection reports and maintain correspondence with customers to ensure all quality concerns are resolved promptly.

Audits & 5S:

Documentation & Data Control:
Oversee document and data control processes, including the preparation of part audit reports for both ongoing and under-development parts. Provide necessary documentation such as work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), operation standards, check sheets, and tags to all relevant departments. Maintain daily inspection reports and in-process inspection records to ensure traceability and compliance.

Calibration:
Maintain accurate external calibration records for all measuring instruments. Additionally, manage internal calibration records for jigs and fixtures used in the press, extrusion, and cutting departments to guarantee measurement accuracy.

Inspection & Monitoring:
Monitor the molding department floor from a quality perspective, coordinating all material testing activities. Hold the authority to reject materials, parts, instruments, or fixtures that do not meet established standards, ensuring only compliant products proceed through production.

Continuous Improvement:
Conduct root cause analysis and implement countermeasures for defects. Prepare Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and develop error-proofing strategies to enhance product quality and reduce defects.

Cross-Functional Coordination:
Collaborate with the maintenance department to support the preventive maintenance plan. Work closely with CNC and maintenance teams during new product development (NPD) to ensure quality standards are integrated from the start.

General:
Complete any additional tasks assigned by the Departmental Head, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to departmental goals.
