Sovereign Warehousing & Distribution (SWD), a leading third-party logistics and warehousing provider operating multiple facilities in Lahore, Pakistan, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Associate. This entry-level position plays a vital role in maintaining and enhancing quality management systems across our warehousing operations. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with operational standards, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help uphold the integrity of our cold-chain and inventory management processes. This full-time, on-site role offers hands-on experience within a dynamic environment serving pharmaceutical, food & beverage, FMCG, and logistics sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout inbound, storage, inventory management, picking, and outbound activities.
- Conduct regular warehouse inspections and process audits to verify adherence to quality, hygiene, safety, and operational standards.
- Verify inventory handling practices, ensuring compliance with FIFO/FEFO, proper product segregation, batch traceability, and stock integrity.
- Oversee cold-chain compliance by monitoring temperature records, storage conditions, and handling of temperature-sensitive products.
- Identify, document, and investigate non-conformities, operational deviations, product damages, and customer complaints.
- Coordinate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), track their implementation, and assess effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation, including inspection records, audit reports, and compliance checklists.
- Support internal and customer audits by ensuring documentation accuracy and timely resolution of observations.
- Analyze quality-related KPIs to identify recurring issues and recommend practical process improvements.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and operations teams to conduct SOP training and enhance procedural compliance.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Food Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, warehouse operations, logistics, FMCG, food processing, or pharmaceutical distribution.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, SOPs, internal audits, and CAPA procedures.
- Understanding of inventory management, warehouse processes, and cold-chain logistics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, reporting, documentation, and basic data analysis.
- Strong observation, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, identify operational gaps, and follow through on corrective actions.
- Willingness to conduct regular inspections across SWD’s warehouse facilities in Lahore.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, or Good Distribution Practices (GDP) is considered an advantage.
