Sr. Network Engineer

Quant Data Solutions Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our advanced network infrastructure. With extensive experience in network design, routing and switching technologies, and load balancing, the Sr. Network Engineer will ensure the seamless operation of our network systems. Candidates must possess a BS in a computer science discipline or an equivalent degree along with at least five years of related experience. Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and network security protocols is essential. Candidates with relevant certifications such as CCIP, CCNP, or CCIE will be given preference. The Sr. Network Engineer will also demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Data Center technologies, specifically Cisco ACI, and be capable of performing upgrades, migrations, and routine operations effectively.

Responsibilities

Design and implement robust network solutions using Cisco routers and switches to meet organizational needs.
Configure and optimize network security protocols to safeguard company data and prevent unauthorized access.
Manage the initial set-up, configuration, and deployment of advanced load balancing solutions, such as F5 BIG-IP and Netscalar, to ensure high availability and performance.
Conduct regular network assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure optimal performance of the network infrastructure.
Collaborate with other technical teams to plan, test, and execute network upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.
Oversee troubleshooting of network issues by diagnosing service interruptions, reviewing logs, and utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of network architecture, configurations, and operational procedures for team reference.
Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and industry trends to recommend enhancements to the current network setup.
Lead troubleshooting efforts and maintain the performance of Data Center technologies focused on Cisco ACI, ensuring seamless integration with virtualization environments.
Provide technical support and advice in a customer-facing environment, ensuring clarity in communication for non-technical stakeholders.
