Quantity Surveyor – Real Estate

We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor with 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in real estate construction projects to join our team. The successful candidate will be based primarily at our office on Tariq Road or at various project sites across Karachi. The position requires a proactive individual who can manage cost control and contract administration efficiently while working closely with project teams on-site.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and accurate cost estimates for real estate construction projects. Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to budgets throughout the construction lifecycle. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to oversee procurement and manage contract administration effectively. Conduct regular site visits to verify progress and quantities, ensuring alignment with project plans. Prepare interim and final payment certificates with precision, maintaining compliance with contractual obligations. Identify, assess, and manage variations and claims related to project costs. Maintain thorough and organized records of all quantity surveying activities for transparency and audit purposes.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant experience specifically in real estate construction projects is essential. Demonstrated expertise in real estate developments with a strong understanding of construction processes and cost management is required. The candidate must be willing and able to work on-site at Tariq Road or other project locations within Karachi. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail are necessary for preparing estimates and managing budgets effectively. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities are important to liaise successfully with various stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Additional certifications or formal training in quantity surveying or construction management will be considered advantageous. The salary range for this position is between PKR 50,000 and PKR 120,000 per month, commensurate with the candidate’s experience and skill level. The role follows a morning shift schedule.
