Quantity Surveyor - Faisalabad

Grand City is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our Faisalabad office. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing project costs, preparing quantity take-offs, evaluating contracts, and ensuring cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires strong analytical abilities, expertise in construction cost management, and a solid understanding of quantity surveying practices within the real estate or construction sectors. The role involves close collaboration with project teams to support cost-effective project execution while maintaining high-quality standards. Working hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity take-offs, and cost estimates based on drawings and specifications.
- Analyze project costs and develop detailed budgeting and forecasting reports.
- Review contractor quotations, tenders, and variation orders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Verify contractor invoices and monitor work progress for payment processing.
- Track project expenditures and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to maintain effective cost control.
- Conduct site visits to verify measurements and assess completed work.
- Prepare comprehensive cost reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Assist in contract administration and manage claims as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and industry standards.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and cost estimation techniques.
- Experience handling construction contracts, tendering processes, and project cost control.
- Candidates residing in or near Faisalabad will be given preference.
