The company is currently seeking a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor based in Baluchistan, Pakistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents specifically for civil engineering and infrastructure projects. This role requires close coordination with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure accurate quantity verification, monitor work progress, and maintain effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation for civil engineering projects.
- Monitor project costs and evaluate variations to ensure budget adherence.
- Assist with contract administration, including the preparation of interim payment certificates and final accounts.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site personnel to validate quantities and verify work progress on-site.
- Support risk assessment activities and maintain accurate records related to project costs and variations.
- Generate reports for internal teams and client stakeholders to provide clear updates on cost management and project status.
- Conduct field visits in Baluchistan to verify quantities and collaborate with multiple stakeholders for smooth project execution.

Required Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, including cost estimation and preparation of bills of quantities for civil engineering projects.
- Experience in contract administration, tender documentation, and evaluation of variations and claims.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant quantity surveying or estimation software to maintain accurate project cost records and reporting.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and local market rates in Pakistan, preferably with infrastructure or civil works experience.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with engineers, project managers, site staff, and clients.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with keen attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in Baluchistan, including conducting field visits and coordinating with diverse project stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Relevant professional certifications are considered an advantage.
- Prior experience in a consulting or construction environment is preferred, with familiarity with local and international standards and codes.
