Bin Saeed Constructors Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with 3 to 4 years of experience in building and construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate quantity estimation, cost control, and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), billing, and project documentation. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with various project stakeholders. The position is based at the Head Office on Shahrah-e-Faisal and requires in-person attendance.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Prepare, review, and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for construction projects.
- Prepare and verify Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs), running bills, and final bills.
- Conduct site measurements and verify executed quantities against approved BOQs and drawings.
- Develop detailed rate analysis for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted work.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and material consumption to ensure effective cost control.
- Identify variations between BOQ quantities and actual site measurements and prepare variation statements.
- Evaluate subcontractor bills, payment certificates, and quantity reconciliation reports.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants, and subcontractors on quantities, billing, and cost matters.
- Assist in tender preparation, cost estimation, and evaluation of subcontractor quotations.
- Maintain accurate records of measurements, billing, variations, and financial documentation.
- Review construction drawings and specifications to identify discrepancies affecting quantities and costs.
- Prepare material reconciliation statements and monitor material requirements according to project progress.
- Support project management in monitoring expenditures and maintaining financial efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying for building and construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and rate analysis.
- Practical experience in preparing IPCs, contractor bills, and variation statements.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Office applications.
- Good understanding of construction materials, methods, measurement standards, and market rates.
- Experience in site measurements, material reconciliation, and subcontractor billing.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Familiarity with project costing and construction management software will be considered an advantage. The role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 120,000.
