Quantity Surveyor Mechanical

Descon Engineering Limited is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor specializing in piping and structural works to join their project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Bill of Materials (BOM), and AutoCAD drawings, starting from initial estimates through to final cost figures. This role is essential in ensuring cost efficiency and optimizing value across mechanical works within various projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage BOQs related to mechanical (static) equipment, piping, civil structures/foundations, and Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) structures.
- Prepare ISOMETRIC drawings using AutoCAD to support project documentation and execution.
- Perform on-site measurements and valuations to ensure accuracy in quantity surveying and cost assessments.

Required Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas sector or similar projects, including turnarounds, with a focus on both piping and structural jobs.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel is mandatory to efficiently handle drawings and data analysis.
