Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a full-time position based in Multan, Pakistan. The role involves supporting various aspects of quantity measurement, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, and project cost control. The successful candidate will manage valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts to ensure projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements. This position requires working on-site during morning shifts and includes some travel as part of the job.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately measure quantities and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for construction projects.
- Conduct cost estimation and assist in procurement processes to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Administer contracts, including managing variations, claims, and final account settlements.
- Monitor and control project costs to maintain budget compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare valuations and assess variations to support project financial management.
- Collaborate with project teams to interpret construction drawings and contract documents.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to project costs and contract administration.
- Travel to project sites as required to oversee quantity surveying activities and support project delivery.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Formal education in quantity surveying or a related field, or equivalent certified construction-commercial experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, cost estimation, and reporting.
- Familiarity with MRS (Market Rate Schedule) rates and their application in cost estimation.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
- Ability to work effectively on-site during morning shifts and manage travel requirements.
