The ideal candidate has at least three years of professional experience and strong proficiency in client-side technologies alongside solid backend expertise. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness for applications. The candidate works closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. As a Backend Developer at Quantumco, you will contribute to the architectural decisions involving microservices and cloud infrastructure. You will build and deploy scalable applications using container orchestration and automated deployment pipelines. The role involves writing clean, testable, and efficient code, performing automated testing, and implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery practices. This position is well suited for a developer who is passionate about backend technologies, diligent in code quality, and eager to contribute to cutting-edge cloud-based applications without managing a team.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend services and APIs adhering to RESTful principles.
Collaborate with front-end developers and product teams to integrate user-facing elements with server logic.
Implement and manage cloud computing solutions that optimize application availability and performance.
Utilize container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for deployment, scaling, and management of applications.
Develop microservices architectures to support modular, efficient, and maintainable backend systems.
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deployment of applications.
Write automated tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
Apply OpenAPI specifications with Swagger to design and document API endpoints clearly and thoroughly.
Monitor and troubleshoot backend systems to optimize performance and fix issues promptly.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of backend development trends, tools, and best practices.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement processes to raise code quality.
Ensure security best practices are applied throughout backend development to safeguard data integrity and privacy.
