Job Description:
The person conducting the risk assessment needs to have the following criteria:
- The person/s must be accredited with the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE), or similar qualification from their home country;
- The person/s must be accredited with the Confederation of Fire Protection Associations Europe (CFPA-Europe) , or similar qualification from their home country;
- The person/s must be a certified infra-red thermographer/s with current accreditation;
- The person/s performing the assessment should be able to offer maintenance guidelines and testing procedures for all fire protection systems including automatic sprinklers, for example. This will enhance the risk protection on-site and make the businesses more resilient as they will be able to maintain their own fire protection systems going forward. In light of this, the person/s bidding must have attended an automatic sprinkler design course or an automatic sprinkler maintenance course;
- The person/s must be able to couple risk assessment with insurance risk requirements in order to satisfy that the warehouse/s have the minimum level of risk mitigation (i.e. systems and insurance coverage).
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Certified infra-red thermographe
- Attended a course on automatic sprinkler design / automatic sprinkler maintenanc
- Able to comment on insurance risk requirements / coverage to make sure warehouses have the minimum required levels of risk mitigation (systems and insurance coverage
- Able to comment on maximum probably loss scenario expressed in monetary terms
