Quran & Tajweed Teacher (Fluent in English)

Quran Majeed Academy is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Quran & Tajweed Teacher fluent in English to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Quranic recitation, Tajweed rules, and Islamic studies to students of various ages. This full-time role requires working from our academy office in Karachi, with a commitment to supporting students religious and language development through engaging and effective teaching methodologies. The teacher should be capable of fostering a positive learning environment, encouraging student participation, and promoting memorization of the Quran while maintaining clarity in English communication. Candidates must possess at least two years of teaching experience, demonstrate expertise in Quran memorization (Hifz), and be proficient in using online tools such as Google Meet or Zoom for supplemental virtual instruction if necessary. The role does not include team management responsibilities but requires strong student engagement skills, patience, and a deep understanding of Islamic teachings. Fluency in English is essential to assist students in understanding Tajweed concepts clearly, ensuring they develop both religious knowledge and language skills effectively.
Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive lessons on Quranic recitation and Tajweed, ensuring students learn correct pronunciation and application of rules.
Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to different age groups and learning levels, focusing on Quran memorization and comprehension.
Utilize online platforms such as Google Meet or Zoom to provide interactive supplemental sessions when required.
Engage students actively during classes to promote participation and maintain high levels of motivation and interest in Islamic studies.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help learners improve their Quranic recitation and memorization skills.
Maintain accurate attendance records and report student performance to academy leadership when needed.
Create a respectful and supportive classroom environment that encourages spiritual growth alongside academic achievement.
Ensure all instructional materials align with the academys curriculum standards and Islamic principles.
Collaborate with the academy administration to address any challenges or concerns related to student learning or behavior.
Stay updated with best practices in Quran and Tajweed teaching methodologies and incorporate new techniques to enhance student learning.
