Radio Frequency Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to join our team in Karachi. The successful candidate will be responsible for RF network planning, conducting site surveys, deploying Point-to-Point (P2P) wireless links, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing network performance to ensure reliable connectivity. This role requires hands-on experience with wireless technologies and the ability to work closely with field teams to support installations and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct RF site surveys and perform Line of Sight (LOS) feasibility assessments to determine optimal link placements.
- Plan, install, configure, and maintain P2P wireless links to support network infrastructure.
- Perform RF link alignment, optimize signal quality, and troubleshoot interference issues to maintain network reliability.
- Work with various wireless equipment brands including Ubiquiti, Cambium, Mimosa, and InfiNet.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as RSSI, noise levels, signal quality, and link throughput to ensure optimal operation.
- Coordinate with field teams during tower installations and equipment deployment to ensure smooth execution.
- Prepare detailed technical survey reports and maintain accurate deployment documentation.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols when working at heights on towers and rooftops.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience in RF networking, wireless ISP operations, and P2P connectivity deployment and maintenance.
- Solid understanding of wireless technologies, antenna systems, and RF equipment configuration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills combined with effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites and perform fieldwork as required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- This is a full-time position based in Karachi, with work conducted primarily on-site.
