We are seeking a qualified and experienced Radiopharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy or chemistry, combined with hands-on experience in radiopharmacy. This role requires familiarity with good laboratory practices, proficiency in MS Office, and an understanding of chemical, biological, and radiological hazards. Excellent communication and computer skills are essential to effectively perform the duties and collaborate within a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with good laboratory practices and maintain accurate documentation of all procedures.
- Monitor and manage chemical, biological, and radiological hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Utilize MS Office tools for record-keeping, reporting, and communication purposes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures involving radiopharmaceuticals.
- Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of radiopharmaceutical materials.
- Participate in training and continuous professional development activities related to radiopharmacy.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) or Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Chemistry with relevant training and experience in radiopharmacy.
- Minimum of two years’ experience working as a Trainee Radiopharmacist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of good laboratory practices and safety protocols related to chemical, biological, and radiological materials.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and other stakeholders.
- Competent computer skills to manage documentation and reporting tasks efficiently.
