The Radiographer role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures by operating radiologic equipment and capturing high-quality images as requested by medical practitioners. The position requires preparing patients for imaging, ensuring correct positioning, adhering to radiation safety protocols, and maintaining accurate imaging records. The Radiographer will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to support clinical decision-making and promptly report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Rawalpindi, requiring adherence to clinical and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate radiologic imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures as per physician requests.
- Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging while ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Follow strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients, colleagues, and self.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of imaging procedures and patient information.
- Collaborate with medical staff to assist in clinical decision-making based on imaging results.
- Identify and report any equipment issues or safety hazards immediately to relevant personnel.
- Adhere to hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements consistently.

Required Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Radiologic Technology and Radiology, including hands-on experience with imaging equipment and diagnostic procedures.
- Demonstrated expertise in radiation safety, with the ability to implement protocols that safeguard patients and staff.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and clinical environments to effectively follow physician instructions.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Radiography, Radiologic Technology, or a related field.
- Valid professional registration or license where applicable.
- Minimum of one year of experience working in a hospital, clinic, or diagnostic center, preferably in a high-volume or advanced care setting.
- Attention to detail, strong ethical standards, and a commitment to patient confidentiality and care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing clinical demands.
