Radiographer / X-Ray Technician (Female)

Baitussalam Laboratory and Diagnostic Center is looking for a skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, keen attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a professional and compassionate manner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform X-ray procedures as requested by physicians or healthcare providers.
- Position patients accurately to obtain necessary images while ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate and adjust X-ray equipment to produce clear, high-quality images with optimal resolution.
- Adhere to established safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and yourself.
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Accurately document patient records and details of procedures performed.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to review images, provide additional imaging if needed, and support accurate diagnosis.
- Provide patients with clear instructions regarding imaging procedures and any required preparations.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast agents or other substances used during imaging.
- Stay updated on advancements in imaging technology, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) is mandatory.
- Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and imaging software.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment while prioritizing patient safety and quality care.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education in radiography.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Capability to lift and move patients as necessary to position them for imaging procedures.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate equipment and handle imaging accessories effectively.
- Willingness to work in environments with potential exposure to radiation, infectious diseases, and hazardous materials while strictly following safety guidelines.

This is a full-time, in-person position at Baitussalam Laboratory and Diagnostic Center. The role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting, contributing to patient diagnosis and care through expert imaging services.
