The position requires effective communication skills, including a basic knowledge of Arabic to coordinate efficiently with drivers. As this is a remote role, the candidate must be proficient in using platforms like Microsoft Teams and Zoom for virtual meetings and team collaboration. Although this role does not involve managing a team, the supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining smooth logistics operations by ensuring coordination and timely execution of transportation tasks.
Responsibilities

Coordinate transportation schedules and activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Manage order fulfillment processes and monitor shipment status to meet customer requirements.
Utilize remote communication tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom to conduct virtual meetings and collaborate with team members and drivers.
Maintain accurate records of logistical activities and track key performance indicators.
Communicate clearly and effectively with drivers and transportation partners using basic Arabic language skills to facilitate operations.
Identify and resolve operational issues to minimize disruptions in the supply chain.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations during transportation and delivery.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain and transportation efficiency.
Assist in vendor and partner communication to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules.
Prepare reports on logistics performance and provide updates to management.
