EY is seeking a Senior Regulatory Reporting professional to join its Risk Consulting team within EY Comply. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, globally connected environment supporting digital asset clients through technology-enabled regulatory reporting services. The position involves managing the entire reporting lifecycle, including data validation, reconciliations, controls, issue management, and adapting to regulatory changes across U.S. and international reporting requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, onshore teams, technology partners, and operations stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy, governance, automation, and scalability in line with evolving regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Lead regulatory reporting workstreams by preparing, reviewing, and ensuring timely submission of U.S. and global filings such as Money Transmitter License (MTL) reporting, transaction reporting, financial condition reporting, and capital calculations. Utilize expertise in banking regulatory returns, including capital adequacy, liquidity reporting, ICAAP reporting, balance sheet reporting, and regulatory disclosures, customized to client operating models. Monitor regulatory developments, interpret reporting instructions, and assess impacts on data and processes. Coordinate updates to reporting logic, templates, procedures, controls, and technology workflows accordingly. Conduct complex data extraction, validation, variance analysis, and root-cause investigations to maintain data completeness and integrity. Implement stringent quality controls, including maker-checker reviews, audit trails, evidence retention, and sign-off protocols throughout reporting cycles. Identify inefficiencies and support automation initiatives using SQL, Python, and modern data platforms to minimize manual effort and operational risk. Apply responsible AI and analytics principles to assist with anomaly detection, exception analysis, reporting commentary, and workflow monitoring. Provide technical coaching and review support to junior team members while collaborating with cross-functional and U.S.-based stakeholders. Demonstrate flexibility to work extended hours to coordinate seamlessly with U.S. teams and meet global submission deadlines. Lead decision-making processes, resource allocation, task assignment, and team performance evaluation to achieve organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications
Possess 4 to 6 years of relevant experience, including 2 to 3 years in a senior regulatory reporting or financial services role. Have hands-on experience with U.S. regulatory filings, financial condition reporting, customer liability reporting, permissible investments, transaction reporting, and MTL submissions. Hold a master’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field preferred; professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA are advantageous. Demonstrate a strong understanding of regulatory reporting cycles, data validation, reconciliations, variance analysis, workpaper preparation, and review controls. Exhibit solid knowledge of financial statement analysis, regulatory capital concepts, ICAAP reporting, and compliance frameworks. Show proven ability to translate complex regulatory mandates into actionable business requirements. Have practical experience with reporting platforms and data tools; proficiency in SQL, Python, Snowflake, or Looker is a plus. Maintain a strong control mindset with experience in maker-checker reviews, audit trails, evidence retention, issue management, and risk/control testing. Possess advanced data analytics skills, including querying large datasets and conducting root-cause analysis. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience managing relationships across onshore/offshore teams and executive stakeholders. Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Willingness to work flexible hours and travel internationally is preferred but not mandatory.
