React.js & Next.js Developer

Napollo Software Design is seeking a motivated Front-End Developer to join our on-site team in Bahria, Lahore. The ideal candidate is passionate about modern web development, clean user interfaces, and minimalist design principles. You will work closely with designers, QA engineers, product managers, backend developers, and other team members on ongoing projects. Leveraging AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, ChatGPT, and Claude will be part of your workflow to enhance productivity and code quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Build clean, modular, reusable, scalable, and maintainable frontend components and architecture.
- Implement state management solutions using Redux, Context API, Vuex, or Pinia as appropriate.
- Utilize React Query / TanStack Query for efficient server-state management, caching, and API interactions.
- Create robust forms with Formik and implement client-side validation using Yup.
- Develop Next.js applications incorporating SSR, SSG, ISR, routing, middleware, layouts, and both Server and Client Components.
- Translate UI/UX designs from tools like Figma or Adobe XD into pixel-perfect, accessible, and responsive interfaces.
- Optimize applications for performance, SEO, accessibility, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless data flow.
- Work within Docker-based containerized development environments and understand deployment workflows.
- Apply Redis caching and session management concepts where applicable.
- Participate in code reviews, maintain coding standards, and contribute to improving development practices.
- Debug and troubleshoot frontend issues efficiently.
- Build reusable utilities, hooks, and libraries to support multiple projects.
- Use AI-assisted tools such as Cursor, ChatGPT, and Claude for development, debugging, refactoring, documentation, and research.
- Stay current with frontend technologies and proactively suggest improvements to tools, workflows, and architecture.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience developing modern web applications with React.js, including Redux and Context API.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Next.js core concepts: App Router, routing, Server and Client Components, layouts, dynamic routes, data fetching, middleware, API/Route handlers, SSR, SSG, ISR, SEO, and metadata optimization.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of component-based architecture, custom hooks, reusable components, and modular coding practices.
- Experience with React Query / TanStack Query for server-state management.
- Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, Vuex, and Pinia.
- Skilled in building and managing forms with Formik and Yup validation.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, and UI frameworks like Material UI and shadcn/ui.
- Ability to convert design files (Figma, Adobe XD) into clean, semantic, and responsive frontend code.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs using Axios, Fetch API, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of Docker, containerized environments, Redis, caching, sessions, and frontend/backend data workflows.
- Proficient with Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience optimizing applications for SEO, accessibility, and scalability.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with Vue.js, including Vuex or Pinia and the Composition API, is a plus.
- Exposure to Docker, Redis, Formik, and Yup is advantageous.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2–3+ years of professional frontend development experience, including building and maintaining production-quality web applications.
