Objectives of This Role
- Support the analysis, architectural design, building, testing, and documentation of complex data conversion and integration solutions
- Assist in the development and evaluation of process improvements, including the identification of project goals and objectives to assist the evaluation of project proposals
- Act as a liaison between end-users and business units to maintain reliability and operation of supported systems
- Ensure the rigorous application of information security and assurance policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of application software services
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and establishing personal networks
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Write, debug, and maintain code
- Assist in the development of custom applications and software systems in NodeJS, VueJS, & HTML/CSS in a web-based environment
- Perform system analysis and design for new and existing applications
- Assist with planning and designing system and application architecture, and with the translation of systems requirements into application prototypes
- Develop user interfaces from given design parameters
- Develop, Maintain and Engineer DevOps processes
- Support Infrastructure
- Participate in agile software development lifecycle in a team environment, including participation in design, code, and test inspections to identify issues/defects
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology
- 1-3 years working in web-based applications
- Experience with NodeJS, VueJS, and HTML/CSS
- Experience with GIT or other version control systems
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical business leaders
- Must be comfortable working in a dynamic, research-oriented team with concurrent projects.
- Experience with AWS DevOps
