The SME Collections & Recovery role based in Islamabad focuses on managing overdue customer accounts to ensure timely payment recoveries. The position involves maintaining accurate collection records and achieving recovery targets through effective customer engagement and consistent follow-ups. The candidate will work closely with internal teams to resolve payment disputes and escalate high-risk accounts while adhering to company policies and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact customers via calls, WhatsApp, and emails to recover outstanding payments.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and negotiate payment commitments.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and recoveries in CRM/B2B portals.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports.
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Customer Support teams to resolve payment-related issues.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and escalate accounts that pose a high risk.
- Consistently achieve assigned monthly collection and recovery targets.
- Ensure professional handling of customers and compliance with company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in Collections, Recovery, Customer Service, Telesales, or Accounts Receivable.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM systems, and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer handling and problem-solving abilities.
- Target-oriented with effective follow-up skills.
- Good analytical, reporting, and coordination capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 50,000 to 70,000 plus commission.

This role reports directly to the Team Lead and plays a critical part in reducing overdue receivables and improving collection efficiency. Success will be measured by monthly recovery target achievement, collection efficiency, conversion of payment commitments, CRM data accuracy, timely reporting, and resolution of customer complaints within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
