Department Head Enterprise Networks

A leading commercial bank is looking for Department Head Enterprise Networks who will lead the implementation and operation of the enterprise network across all sites to support business continuity and ensure uninterrupted network availability, network security, and high-quality performance of network systems.

Responsibilities

To support in developing network strategy & architecture by defining enterprise network roadmap for LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Cloud network. Design highly available, scalable architecture and evaluate new technologies for a trust network
Lead and monitor network operations to ensure 24/7 uptime for all branches / back offices / Data Centers. Provide root cause analysis for major outages and technical guidance when incidents or complex issues are escalated related to network infrastructure
Implement and manage firewall in coordination with InfoSec team for vulnerability remediation, firewall audits and compliance (ISO 27001). Responsible for network back and disaster recovery strategies, also keep track record and maintaining of WAN, LAN, Routers, Firewall and load balancers
Provide assistance in formulating Capex / Opex for network hardware, licenses, negotiation with vendors and ISPs for contracts within assigned financial budgets
Maintain IP schema, network diagrams, SOPs and disaster recovery plans to ensure all changes. Ensure all changes go through advisory quorum with proper rollback plan
Lead, mentor and build team of Network Engineers and define KPIs in coordination with line management and HRMG, plans training and certifications to keep abreast with latest technologies
