Recruit AI is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join a global fintech initiative focused on pioneering payment platforms, digital wallets, partner integrations, and scalable financial technology frameworks. This role involves designing and developing secure, high-performance backend services and reusable integration frameworks that support multi-country, multi-currency, and multi-tenant platforms. The ideal candidate combines advanced expertise in payment gateway integration, distributed systems, and cloud-native application development, working closely with international product and engineering teams to build innovative financial technology solutions. With over seven years of software engineering experience, the candidate will lead the development of APIs, SDKs, and integration components that interface with fintech ecosystems such as Alipay+, Ant Group, and other digital wallet and payment platforms. This position requires an in-depth understanding of microservices architecture, real-time transaction processing, security protocols including OAuth2, and regulatory compliance in PCI-sensitive environments. While this role does not involve team management, it demands strong collaboration skills and a proactive approach to system optimization, deployment, and monitoring across various cloud platforms.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services tailored for fintech and payment platforms, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
Build robust APIs, SDKs, integration libraries, and developer frameworks to facilitate seamless payment system interoperability.
Develop and maintain integrations with payment gateways, digital wallets, mobile money platforms, banking APIs, and QR payment systems.
Support complex multi-country, multi-currency, and multi-tenant architectures that adhere to international regulatory and compliance standards.
Architect and implement distributed systems with high availability, ensuring transaction reliability and real-time processing capabilities.
Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using standards such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and token-based authentication.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional international teams, including product management, engineering, and partner organizations, to deliver integrated fintech solutions.
Oversee production deployments, conduct system monitoring, and perform performance tuning to maintain optimal functionality and user experience.
Participate in CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance to streamline continuous integration, testing, and deployment processes.
Leverage containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to facilitate scalable and resilient service delivery.
Optimize database design and queries for performance and scalability in distributed environments.
Work with messaging systems like Kafka to manage real-time data flows and event-driven architecture requirements.
Ensure compliance with fintech security standards and regulatory frameworks such as PCI DSS in all system designs and implementations.
Stay current with emerging trends in fintech payment solutions, cloud computing, and software engineering best practices to continually improve system architecture.
