Rozee is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Software Development Intern (PHP) to join our engineering team. This internship is ideal for candidates with foundational knowledge of PHP and web development who are looking to gain hands-on experience working on real-world software projects.
The selected intern will work closely with experienced developers and contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of web-based applications. Requirements- Basic understanding of PHP and MySQL.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of web application architecture and development fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of APIs and database concepts.
- Knowledge of Git or other version control systems is a plus.
- Exposure to PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter will be an advantage.
- Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a professional environment.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and take guidance from senior developers.
- Fresh graduate or final-year student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Academic, personal, or freelance projects related to PHP or web development will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and customization of web applications using PHP and MySQL.
- Support senior developers in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Help identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing applications.
- Work with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic React.js where required.
- Assist in database operations, queries, and schema management using MySQL.
- Participate in application testing to ensure functionality, performance, and quality standards are met.
- Follow coding standards, development guidelines, and security best practices.
- Use Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Assist in improving application performance and identifying optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and project stakeholders to understand project requirements.
- Support the documentation of technical processes, features, and development activities when required.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices in web development.
