We Are Hiring – Registered Nurse-Ward

Hasan Suleman Memorial Hospital (HSMH) is a 312-bed hospital being developed in Malir, Karachi, with planned opening in December 2026. HSMH is committed to providing safe, quality, accessible, and patient-centered healthcare services.

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Registered Nurse-Ward to provide nursing care to admitted patients, support daily ward operations, and ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care in accordance with hospital policies and clinical standards.

Qualification Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.

Specialization or relevant certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing / Ward Nursing will be preferred.

Valid Registration and License of PNC

Experience Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience in a hospital setting is required.

Experience in inpatient wards or medical-surgical nursing is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to admitted patients according to their individual needs and prescribed treatment plans.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, clinical conditions, and responses to treatment.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols.
  • Assist physicians during patient assessments, rounds, and clinical procedures.
  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation, patient records, and clinical handovers.
  • Coordinate with physicians, nursing teams, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions, as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention, medication safety, and patient safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
  • Recognize and report changes in patients' conditions and respond promptly to emergencies.
