Registrar Cardiac

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiologist to join our team, providing comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions as well as general medical cases. The role involves working across various clinical settings including the inpatient department (IPD), emergency department (ED), and coronary care unit (CCU). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases alongside general medical conditions.
- Deliver quality patient care in IPD, ED, and CCU environments.
- Interpret diagnostic cardiac tests such as ECGs, echocardiograms, and other relevant investigations.
- Handle cardiac emergencies and contribute to critical care management.
- For Interventional Cardiologists: Perform or assist with coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), and other interventional cardiac procedures in accordance with expertise and hospital protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.
- Participate actively in ward rounds alongside consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide on-call coverage as per the duty roster.
- Ensure safe and effective patient handovers during shift changes.
- Promote clinical excellence, teamwork, and patient safety throughout all activities.

Required Qualifications

- MBBS degree with valid PMDC registration.
- FCPS Part-II or an equivalent qualification in Cardiology is preferred.
- Relevant clinical experience in Cardiology, CCU, Emergency Medicine, or Interventional Cardiology.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant clinical experience is preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent patient management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in high-acuity and emergency care settings.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
