The Registrar will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the student registration, records, and examination processes to ensure smooth academic operations. This position requires close collaboration with academic leadership, including Deans, Directors, and Academic Heads, to support curriculum implementation and maintain compliance with Higher Education Commission (HEC) regulations and other relevant bodies. The Registrar will also be responsible for managing academic calendars, convocations, and degree certifications, while leading and mentoring the Registrar’s Office staff to foster high performance and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of student registration, academic records, and examination administration.
- Ensure institutional compliance with HEC guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage the academic calendar, coordinate convocations, and oversee the issuance of degree certifications.
- Collaborate with Deans, Directors, and Academic Heads to facilitate effective curriculum implementation.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor staff within the Registrar’s Office, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous professional growth.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Education Administration, Management, or a related field. A PhD is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in the higher education sector.
- At least 5 years of experience serving as a Registrar in an HEC-recognized university or institution is preferred.
