We are looking for an experienced Manager Regulatory Compliance to join our Compliance Group in the banking industry. This role is based in Karachi, Pakistan, and offers a competitive monthly salary of PKR 200,000. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance, operations, branch banking, or business within the banking sector. A bachelor’s degree is required.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting regulatory compliance activities and ensuring the bank’s adherence to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations. This position involves monitoring compliance risks across various banking functions, excluding the Retail Business segment. The Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders to maintain compliance standards and mitigate risks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with SBP regulations and all applicable banking requirements.
- Review and assess policies, procedures, and banking products to confirm regulatory compliance.
- Identify potential compliance risks and conduct thorough compliance reviews.
- Monitor regulatory advisories issued by the SBP and ensure timely follow-up on corrective actions.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders across the bank to maintain accurate compliance records and prepare detailed reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in regulatory compliance, banking operations, branch banking, or related business functions within the banking industry.
- Strong knowledge of SBP regulations and banking compliance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and assess compliance risks.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to liaise with internal teams and regulatory bodies.
