Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL) is seeking a Relationship Officer Asset to play a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships with customers. This position involves understanding clients’ unique financial needs and providing personalized guidance on banking products and services. The Relationship Officer acts as a trusted point of contact, assisting customers with account openings, product navigation, and addressing any concerns to enhance their overall banking experience. Key Responsibilities
- Implement approved sales and service plans to achieve the bank’s growth objectives by coordinating with Branch Managers and Relationship Managers.
- Establish and develop customer relationships to sell banking products in line with the bank’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Achieve sales targets ethically, avoiding practices such as family loaning, activist lending, or adjustment lending.
- Increase profitability through loan sales and customer base expansion while strictly following bank policies.
- Market company products effectively and contribute to strategy development.
- Demonstrate strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Identify business opportunities by evaluating industry prospects and customer profiles using the five C’s of credit.
- Clearly communicate product terms and conditions to customers.
- Conduct physical verification of prospective clients to ensure on-track performance.
- Proactively manage loan collections by maintaining timely communication with clients and ensuring 100% repayment compliance.
- Handle customer legal documents with utmost care to prevent misuse.
- Guide customers to make loan repayments at cash counters and avoid cash handling during routine Relationship Officer functions; ensure strict compliance with collection manuals during field collections.
- Prepare weekly field activity plans and report deviations in consultation with Line Managers.
- Organize monthly and quarterly customer meetings as per product programs.
- Conduct loan bookings in strict adherence to the bank’s policies, ethics, and standards.
- Continuously update product and service knowledge and suggest improvements based on feedback.
- Perform market research to identify new selling opportunities and assess existing markets in collaboration with line management.
- Maintain high internal service standards to prevent customer complaints, following the bank’s fair treatment policy.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships between the bank and its customers.
- Report any suspected fraud or potential losses to the line manager or Head of Department.
- Ensure full compliance with bank SOPs and State Bank of Pakistan regulations to protect the bank’s reputation and prevent financial or operational losses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution is mandatory.
- Preferably 0-1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
