Remote AI Engineer

We are looking for a Remote AI Engineer who is skilled in machine learning, large language models (LLMs), and AI application development. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, and data teams to design intelligent systems, develop AI-powered features, and enhance model performance across various applications. Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning models in production environments.
- Build AI-powered applications using LLMs such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or open-source alternatives.
- Create and optimize prompt engineering workflows for generative AI applications.
- Develop APIs and backend systems to integrate AI services into web and mobile platforms.
- Fine-tune models to improve inference performance, reduce latency, and ensure scalability.
- Work with both structured and unstructured datasets for model training and evaluation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into AI solutions.
- Implement vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
- Monitor AI system performance and continuously enhance reliability and accuracy.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and automation technologies.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software engineering, machine learning, or AI development.
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, or Hugging Face.
- Experience with OpenAI APIs, Anthropic, Gemini, or comparable AI platforms.
- Familiarity with LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, and prompt engineering techniques.
- Proven ability to build REST APIs and scalable backend systems.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud deployment workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
- Experience deploying AI agents or autonomous workflows.
- Familiarity with MLOps tools and AI monitoring systems.
- Hands-on experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, or ChromaDB.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Knowledge of frontend frameworks like React or Next.js is a plus. Previous experience working in SaaS or startup environments is highly desirable.
