We are looking for a highly analytical and computationally skilled individual with a strong research background to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing challenging and insightful problems within their research domain and developing elegant computational solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and conceptualize original, research-grade or graduate-level scientific problems using Python programming for scientific coding.
- Define problem categories, assign secondary tags, and determine appropriate difficulty levels with precision.
- Solve formulated problems rigorously, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and logical coherence throughout the solution process.
- Participate actively in two-tier reviews, meticulously assessing the accuracy of both problems and solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with reviewers and team leads, demonstrating a proactive approach to incorporating feedback, refining content, and enhancing overall quality in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- PhD or PhD candidate in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a closely related field.
- At least one peer-reviewed publication.
- Advanced proficiency in Python programming for scientific coding is preferred.
- Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and effective collaboration.

Offer Details
- Commitment of at least 4 hours per day and a minimum of 20 hours per week, with a required overlap of 4 hours with Pacific Standard Time (PST). Options for 20, 30, or 40 hours per week are available.
