- Define problem categories, assign secondary tags, and set appropriate difficulty levels with rigor and precision.
- Solve formulated problems accurately, ensuring logical coherence, reliability, and adherence to sound scientific principles.
- Participate actively in a two-tier review process, thoroughly evaluating the accuracy of both problems and solutions.
- Collaborate closely with reviewers and team leads, proactively incorporating feedback to refine content and improve overall quality in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

- PhD or current PhD candidate in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a closely related field.
- At least one peer-reviewed publication demonstrating research expertise.
- Advanced proficiency in Python programming, particularly for scientific coding applications.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear documentation and smooth collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Opportunity to work fully remotely, providing flexibility and work-life balance.
- Engagement with cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading companies in the large language model (LLM) space.
- Potential for contract extension based on individual performance and project requirements.

Offer Details

- Commitment of at least 4 hours per day and a minimum of 20 hours per week, with a required 4-hour overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST). Options for 20, 30, or 40 hours per week are available.
- Engagement as a contractor/freelancer, which does not include medical benefits or paid leave.
- Initial contract duration of 3 months, with an expected start date in the near term.

This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a research-driven environment and are passionate about advancing AI through rigorous problem design and computational excellence. If you are eager to contribute to transformative AI projects while working remotely with a dynamic team, this opportunity at Turing offers a compelling platform to apply your expertise.
