- Define problem categories, assign secondary tags, and set appropriate difficulty levels with rigor and precision.
- Solve formulated problems accurately, ensuring logical coherence, reliability, and sound scientific principles throughout the solution process.
- Participate actively in two-tier review processes, meticulously evaluating the accuracy and quality of both problems and solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with reviewers and team leads, demonstrating a proactive approach to incorporating feedback and refining content to enhance overall quality promptly.

Required Qualifications:
- PhD or current PhD candidate in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a closely related field.
- At least one peer-reviewed publication in a relevant scientific domain.
- Advanced proficiency in Python programming, particularly for scientific coding applications.
- Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear documentation and effective collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Work remotely in a fully flexible environment, enabling you to contribute from anywhere.
- Engage with cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading companies specializing in large language models (LLMs).
- Opportunity for contract extension based on performance and project requirements.

Offer Details:
- Commitment of at least 4 hours per day and a minimum of 20 hours per week, with a required 4-hour overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST). Three time commitment options are available: 20, 30, or 40 hours per week.
- Engagement as a contractor/freelancer; this is a non-employee role without medical benefits or paid leave.
- Initial contract duration is 3 months, with an expected start date in the upcoming week.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to frontier AI research while applying your expertise in computational biology and bioinformatics to solve complex scientific problems. If you are passionate about research and coding and want to work on impactful AI projects in a flexible, remote setting, this position at Turing could be an excellent fit.
