We are looking for a highly experienced Hotel General Manager or Hotel Operations Leader based in Pakistan to remotely oversee the operations and financial performance of hotel properties located in the United States. This role demands a hands-on hospitality professional with deep knowledge of U.S. branded hotel operations who can effectively manage property leadership, financial controls, revenue performance, guest satisfaction, sales, staffing, brand compliance, and overall accountability from Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have senior leadership experience with major U.S. hotel brands such as Marriott, Choice Hotels, IHG, Hilton, Wyndham, or similar international brands. This is a full-time remote position requiring availability during U.S. business hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily hotel operations through the U.S.-based property management team, conducting daily virtual meetings with department heads to ensure smooth functioning.
- Monitor performance across all hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, Sales, and Revenue Management.
- Conduct regular virtual property inspections to maintain operational discipline and accountability.
- Review daily hotel performance reports and dashboards, focusing on key metrics such as occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, room revenue, and GOP.
- Manage financial controls including revenue reports, bank deposits, credit card settlements, cash reconciliations, P&L performance, departmental expenses, payroll, and operating costs.
- Oversee accounts payable, vendor balances, and outstanding invoices, identifying discrepancies and strengthening internal controls.
- Collaborate with revenue management teams to optimize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
- Monitor group, corporate, and transient sales performance by reviewing pipelines, leads, contracts, and production reports to identify revenue opportunities.
- Analyze guest satisfaction scores, complaints, online reviews, and service recovery efforts to drive improvements in guest experience and ensure brand compliance.
- Manage staffing levels, schedules, overtime, labor productivity, and departmental KPIs, holding department leaders accountable for results.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly operational performance reports to ownership, offering insights into financial performance, operational challenges, and improvement plans.
- Escalate operational, financial, or compliance issues promptly and support ownership in enhancing profitability, accountability, and operational discipline.

Required Qualifications

- A minimum of 8 years of senior hotel management experience in roles such as Hotel General Manager, Director of Operations, Director of Rooms, Director of Finance, or Senior Hotel Executive.
- Proven track record with major U.S. or international hotel brands including Marriott, Choice Hotels, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or comparable brands.
- Strong understanding of U.S. hotel operations, franchise standards, and managing full-service or large limited-service hotels.
- Expertise in hotel P&L statements, budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, labor management, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in hotel PMS systems, revenue management systems, and reporting platforms, along with advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to constructively challenge teams and maintain accountability.
- Willingness to work primarily during U.S. business hours, including evenings and nights, while based in Pakistan.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience working directly with U.S.-based hotel owners, franchise companies, or hotel management companies is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with specific brands such as Marriott International (Courtyard, Fairfield, Four Points), Choice Hotels (Comfort Inn, Quality Inn), IHG (Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza), Hilton (Hampton, DoubleTree), and Wyndham (Ramada, Days Inn) is preferred.
- Competitive hourly pay range of Rs130,000 to Rs180,000 is offered.
- While the role operates remotely, some flexibility for in-person work location is required.
