Solar Squads is establishing its Finnish branch in Vaasa to focus on commercial and industrial solar, battery storage, and energy management projects. We are seeking a Renewable Energy Engineer who can translate customer requirements into effective technical solutions. This is a full-time, on-site position offering a competitive gross salary of €9,000 per month (€108,000 annually). The role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution from design through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess site conditions, energy demands, and system specifications to develop appropriate solutions.
- Create detailed layouts, perform technical calculations, and specify necessary equipment.
- Analyze and review supplier proposals, addressing any technical inquiries.
- Collaborate with installation partners and provide support during system commissioning.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and prepare project handover materials.

Required Qualifications
- A degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, or a related field.
- Practical experience with solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, battery storage, or electrical systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and proficiency in technical documentation.
- Fluency in both Finnish and English, with a readiness to travel to project sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- The position offers a gross monthly base salary of €9,000, with additional performance incentives governed by a separate agreement.
