Rennova Consultant is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Engineer, Civil to join our team. The successful candidate will support project execution by applying civil engineering principles to construction activities and structural design. This role requires a solid understanding of construction and structure drawings and the ability to prepare comprehensive reports. The Assistant Engineer will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure smooth coordination and project delivery while maintaining high-quality standards. This position is ideal for someone with at least one year of relevant experience who is eager to develop their technical expertise and contribute to the success of civil engineering projects.
As an Assistant Engineer at Rennova Consultant, you will manage and guide a team of 10 members, ensuring effective task delegation and progress tracking. You will play an integral role in communicating issues, developing solutions, and ensuring that project goals are achieved on time and within scope. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications is preferred to support design review and documentation activities. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential to handle challenges and facilitate collaboration in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret construction and structural drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed engineering reports, proposals, and documentation related to civil projects.
- Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams including contractors, architects, and surveyors to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates on deliverables, timelines, and potential risks or issues.
- Supervise and manage a team of 10 engineers and technicians, assigning tasks and ensuring optimal team performance and productivity.
- Support the development and implementation of construction plans, schedules, and budget estimates.
- Apply AutoCAD software to assist in the preparation and modification of design drawings and schematics.
- Utilize MS Office tools to maintain project records, generate reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Identify problems encountered in project execution and propose practical solutions to mitigate delays and enhance quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout project phases.
