Key Responsibilities
You will support the development of pharmaceutical formulations from concept through to commercialization. This includes designing and optimizing stable, scalable formulations that comply with quality, regulatory, and manufacturing standards, both in-house and with third-party partners. Your role will involve conducting pilot trials, pre-formulation studies, scale-up support, and troubleshooting formulation challenges. You will contribute to technology transfer activities, prepare regulatory documentation, and drive continuous improvement of existing formulations. Additionally, you may take on supervisory duties to maintain operational continuity and efficiency within R&D.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Pharm-D or an equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university. A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in formulation research and development within the pharmaceutical industry is essential. A strong understanding of formulation development, scale-up processes, and technology transfer is required. Candidates must demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with effective communication and project coordination abilities. Time management and disciplined documentation practices are critical. Familiarity with lean methodologies and process improvement frameworks is highly desirable. Proficiency in MS Office and internet-based research tools is expected.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, and Engineering to ensure smooth product development and transfer.
