Resorsify is looking for Deputy Manager Production / Quality Control and Machine Maintenance for its renowned client from Printing and Packaging Industry located at Defense Phase-I, Karachi.
Job Responsibilities:
Production Responsibilities:
- Supervising the production and maintenance of the plant.
- Handle process and troubleshooting of OPTIMEX machines.
- Ensure smooth operation of plant and handle all process of plant.
- Provide Maximum production output by the extrusion unit.
- Develop efficient maintenance methods for an improved availability of spare parts, tools and equipment.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance plans for the safe and smooth operation of Plant.
- Develop technical skills of the employees.
Quality Control and Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Implement Quality management systems based on standards stipulated under ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001 and 14001 SGS.
- Prepare and calibrate and service schedule.
- Encourage in developing technical skills of the employees.
- Daily inspections of production area, including printing press defect system.
- Perform Quality Control checks, including job approvals, in-process checks, testing procedures (bond testing, color matching, dyne, etc.).
- Supervise Quality Department staff.
- Evaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
- Establish a balance between increase productivity and reduce costs of manufacturing operations.
- Setting productivity goals for each manufacturing team.
- Develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
