Resource Linked is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Representative to join our retail team. In this role, you engage directly with customers to understand their needs and provide accurate, helpful product information to ensure a positive shopping experience. You represent the company by maintaining comprehensive product knowledge and delivering excellent communication, customer service, and sales support. Although this position does not involve managing a team, you collaborate closely with colleagues and store leadership to implement effective sales strategies and maintain the companys retail standards.
As a Retail Sales Representative, you build strong customer relationships that encourage repeat business and brand loyalty. You utilize point-of-sale systems efficiently, assist with inventory management, and keep store displays attractive and organized. The ideal candidate has at least two years of retail experience, familiarity with retail technology, and a proactive approach to handling customer inquiries and adapting to dynamic retail environments while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers by assessing their needs and providing accurate and clear product information.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all products and services available in the store to communicate features and benefits effectively.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers to promote repeat business and enhance brand loyalty.
- Meet individual and store sales targets by actively promoting products and upselling when appropriate.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently to process purchases, returns, exchanges, and other transactions.
- Assist with inventory management tasks including restocking shelves, organizing product displays, and reporting low stock levels to management.
- Ensure the sales floor and store environment remain clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Work collaboratively with team members and store leadership to implement sales strategies, promotions, and operational procedures.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors products, and customer preferences to provide relevant advice and suggest suitable items.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Adapt to fast-paced and changing retail environments with a positive attitude and professionalism.
