Retail Floor Manager – Fashion & Clothing

A well-established men’s fashion and clothing brand in Karachi is looking for an experienced Retail Floor Manager to lead daily retail operations and enhance store performance. This full-time, onsite position requires a proactive retail professional with a strong background in managing clothing or fashion retail floors or branches. The ideal candidate will be responsible for team leadership, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and consistently achieving sales targets in a dynamic retail environment. Strong decision-making abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to uphold high operational standards while motivating the sales team are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily retail floor operations to ensure smooth and efficient store functioning.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team by setting clear priorities focused on sales and customer service objectives.
- Track individual and team sales performance, taking corrective actions as necessary to meet targets.
- Drive the achievement of daily, monthly, and periodic sales goals.
- Deliver professional, attentive, and consistent customer service throughout the shopping experience.
- Manage customer complaints and escalations promptly and professionally.
- Maintain high standards of product presentation, merchandising, and overall floor appearance.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, discipline, and professional conduct.
- Coach and develop sales staff to improve product knowledge, communication, and selling skills.
- Support onboarding and training of new team members.
- Coordinate with inventory and operations teams regarding stock availability, replenishment, and transfers.
- Stay informed about inventory levels and promptly report any stock-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, retail procedures, and operational standards.
- Prepare and communicate sales and operational updates to management.
- Identify operational gaps and recommend practical improvements to boost store performance.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing a retail floor, branch, or store in the fashion or clothing industry, especially in apparel, men’s wear, women’s wear, or fashion retail.
- Strong understanding of retail sales processes and branch operations.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid knowledge of customer service principles and retail selling techniques.
- Ability to monitor sales targets and hold team members accountable for performance.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Professional appearance, grooming, and conduct suitable for a fashion retail environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Prior experience managing a clothing or fashion retail branch or floor is highly preferred.
- This role is intended for professionals with hands-on experience in fashion or clothing retail; candidates from unrelated retail sectors without relevant apparel experience may not be considered.
- The ideal candidate will take ownership of both people and performance, lead actively from the floor, understand customer needs, and maintain high operational standards in a busy retail environment.
