Revenue Operations Analyst

StarRez, a global leader in student housing software, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Revenue Operations Analyst to join its growing team in Hyderabad, India. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of the go-to-market organization by managing data, executing processes, supporting commissions, testing systems, and maintaining the accuracy of revenue operations workflows. The ideal candidate will have 2–3+ years of experience in Revenue or Sales Operations and be comfortable independently managing recurring operational tasks while collaborating closely with the Revenue Operations leadership, Salesforce administrators, and other teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate Salesforce data through bulk uploads, updates, data cleanup, and regular audits to identify and correct discrepancies.
- Manage account, contact, opportunity, territory, and ownership updates, leveraging tools like Clay for data enrichment.
- Test Salesforce workflows, automations, validation rules, and system integrations by executing user acceptance and regression testing.
- Document testing results, defects, and ensure data flows correctly between Salesforce and connected GTM systems.
- Own and execute recurring Revenue Operations processes such as commission processing, pipeline hygiene, lead routing, and territory assignments.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end operational activities while maintaining checklists and controls to ensure consistency.
- Build and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards, validate data accuracy, and perform ad hoc analyses to support revenue-related reporting.
- Identify opportunities to automate or streamline reporting and operational processes.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and quality-control measures.
- Proactively identify data issues, process gaps, and operational risks, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Required Qualifications

- 2–3+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Business Operations, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, including data imports, exports, bulk updates, and cleanup.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to work effectively with large datasets.
- Experience creating and maintaining Salesforce reports and dashboards.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate discrepancies and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Ability to independently manage recurring processes and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple operational requests and projects.
- Clear and consistent process documentation skills.
- Comfortable collaborating across teams and time zones.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with data enrichment platforms such as Clay.
- Familiarity with sales commissions or incentive compensation processes.
- Experience conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) or regression testing for Salesforce or other GTM systems.
- Knowledge of sales engagement, forecasting, conversation intelligence, marketing automation, or other GTM platforms.
- Skills in data visualization or business intelligence tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or other data querying languages.
- Previous experience working in SaaS or B2B technology companies.
